You can fly from Vancouver to Australia for under $650 roundtrip this year

The folks over at NextDeparture want to make sure you get a chance to check out Australia and they’re making sure you can do it without breaking the bank.

Qantas Airways have dropped their Australian flights from Vancouver to Melbourne for $624 and to Sydney for $641, roundtrip, tax in. The website also says that flights to Brisbane should be available for similar pricing.

Flights have one or two connections each way. Some flights require a lengthy layover (10+ hours) during the day in Los Angeles and total travel time is close to 20 hours but come on, it’s Australia… for less than a peak ticket to Toronto!

Qantas fares include two checked baggage and one carry-on.

Google Flights show the same flight path for $980 to $996 so you’d best get booking if you’re in the mood to go “down under.”
