Overnight snow flurries have shuttered schools across Metro Vancouver.

The unexpected snowfall hit overnight with more snow expected to fall in some regions into Monday morning.

At the time of writing, post-secondary institutions are not affected; the campuses of UBC, SFU, and BCIT are open as of this morning. However some schools are closed.

Here is a full list of elementary and high school closures as of the time of publication:

Langley

• The Kings School (K-12)
• Langley Montessori School and Early Learning Centre
• St. Catherine’s Elementary School

Surrey

• William of Orange Christian School
• Surrey Christian School
• Pacific Academy
• Regent Christian Academy (K-12)
• Holy Cross Regional High School
• Cloverdale Christian Elementary School
• Our Lady of Good Counsel Elementary School
• St. Bernadette’s Elementary School

Abbotsford

• St. John Brebeuf Regional High School
  St. James Catholic Elementary School

Chilliwack

• All public schools in School District #33

Fraser Cascade

• All public schools in the Fraser Cascade School District #78 closed

Burnaby

• St. Thomas More Collegiate opening at 10 am
• St. Michael’s Elementary School
• Burnaby Montessori School

White Rock

• White Rock Christian Academy
• Eaton Arrowsmith School

Tsawwassen

• Southpointe Academy

Delta

• Sacred Heart School
• Immaculate Conception School

Coquitlam

• All public schools in School District #43 won’t open until 10 am Monday
