Surprise! Just when you thought it was safe to put the snowboots away, Environment Canada has issued a new warning after another dusting of the white stuff hit the city overnight.

In a statement issued early on Monday morning the agency warned that total amounts of between 5 to 10 cm could fall on Vancouver today.
“A low pressure system just west of Vancouver Island will continue to spread moisture over Metro Vancouver early this morning,” it said.
Many areas were hit with flurries overnight and the snow is expected to continue to fall this morning.
