Vancouver dogs just got a new ride service especially for them
Calling all dog parents! Paws en Route is now officially in Vancouver, so Vancity pooches can hail a ride in style.
The company was already operating in Toronto, where it’s based, and in Calgary. Now, pet owners in Vancouver can get their pet to grooming and vet appointments easily.
“Because of the current pet boom, there is a growing number of pet parents, including urban-living young adults and millennials requiring this service like never before,” said Paws en Route in a release.
You can book a ride right away or book in advance either online or in their app.
Just like other ride-sharing or taxi services, the cost of fares is based on time and kilometres travelled, and on average, a short-haul ride is anywhere from $25 to $60.
