Vancouver’s public pianos are nothing new, but one particular performance from a Vancouver Police officer is attracting a whole lot of attention.
In a video posted to Facebook by Emma Hyde (who notes she was sent the video by a friend) the uniformed officer can be seen sitting down at the public piano located along False Creek under the Cambie Street Bridge, and playing a short tune.
However, far from a simple tapping of the keys, the officer plays a beautiful tune, much to the delight and interest of the crowd gathered around him.
Yes, there’s nothing better than an unexpected musical performance, especially when it comes from a police officer.
