The Vancouver Police Department has arrested and charged a Vancouver-based massage therapist.

The registered massage therapist (RMT), Bodhi Jones, who worked near West 7th and Burrard Street, has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting his clients.

The investigation began in March 2017, when the VPD’s Sex Crimes Unit began investigating allegations of sexual assault. Multiple female patients came forward to the police and reported that they were allegedly assaulted by Jones during treatments.

Based on the reports from the women, the sexual assaults ran from September 2016 to March 2017.

The Crown Counsel approved four charges of sexual assault against Jones on May 29, 2018.

Detectives, however, believe that there are additional victims who haven’t yet contacted police. At this time, they’re continuing their investigation.

Anyone who may have been assaulted by Bodhi Jones, or has information they feel could be important for the police, is asked to contact the VPD Sex Crimes Unit at 604-717-0603 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
