Parts of Metro Vancouver were greeted with colourful pink skies on Tuesday morning as fog warnings continued across the region.
Commuters were treated to stunning pink skies and rose-coloured fog in several cities including Delta, Burnaby, and Surrey.
Daily Hive reader Maria Ehrich submitted photos she captured on the SkyTrain as it crossed over the SkyBridge across Fraser River, and it is equal parts eerie and magical.

“The pink fog sunrise was a little weird like the sun was enjoying playing peek-a-boo,” Maria told Daily Hive.
Another reader shared a colourful photo he snapped outside of the Royal Oak SkyTrain Station in Burnaby.
“Being surrounded by this much light and colour on what looked like was going to be a cold, dark, damp morning was energizing,” said Gregory Milne. “It just turned my whole mood around.”

Fog warnings posted by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) continue across Metro Vancouver into Tuesday, with localized areas of dense fog over low-lying areas and near sources of water.
ECCC also warned that travel is expected to be hazardous in some locations due to reduced visibility in some locations and that commuters should be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility.
