Here's the full music lineup for the 2019 Vancouver Mural Festival

Vancouver’s biggest public art festival, the 2019 Vancouver Music Fest, is just around the corner, celebrating its fourth year with an exciting 10-day schedule of events showcasing and celebrating dozens of the city’s local artists.

The annual event, which is happening between August 1 to 10, is a platform to showcase the diversity and creativity of local artists while also bringing communities together through accessible public art and interaction about the socio-cultural issues facing the city.

The VMF will take place at the 14 West 7 Avenue, in the alley dubbed  ‘7-½ Lane’, because of its location between West 7th and West 8th Avenue.

The VMF festival will culminate into its most highly anticipate event, the Mount Pleasant Street Party, on Saturday, August 10 from 12 to 7 pm.

The party spans over 14 blocks in and around Main Street and Broadway, and will see Mount Pleasant’s streets and laneways transformed into dynamic living art spaces with free attractions to bring the community together, including live music, four beer gardens, skate jam, Family Zone, two markets, street dance battles, DJs, and much more.

The event also features several talented local musicians, and live music stages.

Here are some of the incredibly talented local artists and musicians you can catch at the 2019 VMF!

Live music: Main Stage

When: Saturday, August 10 from 12 to 7 pm

Where: Main Street and Broadway

Time: 12 pm to 7 pm

Cost: Free!

This is a free afternoon event that will take place at the Mount Pleasant Street Party, and will features artists DJ NDN (founder of a Tribe Called Red), I M U R, Ashley Ball, Missy D & Friends, and Quarterback.

Where: Main Street and Broadway

Time: 12 pm to 7 pm

Cost: Free!

This is also a free afternoon event  that will take place at the Mount Pleasant Street Party, and will features artists Blonde Diamond, Haley Blais, Gang Signs, Tonye Aganabe, Sleepy Gonzalez, Francis Arevalo, and Sam the Astronaut.

The Park Show

The Park Show (Vancouver Mural Festival 2019)

When: Saturday, August 10

Where: Jonathan Rogers Park (110, West 7th Avenue)

Time: doors open at 4 pm

Cost: Buy tickets here! Tickets are $40 per person (plus service charges). Free for kids 12 and under

The Park Show is an evening, all-ages, ticketed concerts at Jonathan Rogers Park featuring LP, badbadnotgood, iskwÄ, and MY!GAY!HUSBAND.
