Vancouver Mural Festival's first-ever mural run takes place this August

Love running but need some new scenery and inspiration? Or maybe you love art and would love some new motivation to get active.

No matter what the reason is, get ready for an eye-catching, art-filled workout being hosted by MEC and the Vancouver Mural Festival (VMF).

This August, the two organizations are teaming up for the inaugural MEC x VMF Run the Murals night.

Participants are invited to grab their running buddies, friends, and family for a set of curated runs that highlight Mount Pleasant’s most eye-catching public art.

Runners can participate in either 2 km or 5 km routes, filled with plenty of Insta-worthy photo-ops.

After the event, everyone is invited to an afterparty, complete with food and beverages at the VMF gallery.

The first-ever MEC x VMF Run the Murals night will take place on Friday, August 2 from 7 to 11 pm. The run begins at 7:15 pm, with the afterparty taking place from 7:45 to 11 pm.

Registration for the run is free of charge and can be done online.
