Vancouver Little League player goes viral for revealing his dream job
Most of us feel the same way as this kid.
Canada’s Little League team from Vancouver caught the country’s attention this month with their impressive run during the Little League World Series.
The team from Little Mountain in Vancouver had a win streak that the country hadn’t seen in 28 years at the tournament. They accomplished that with some dramatic performances, including an upset over South Korea.
“I donāt think anyone thought we were gonna win this,” Kian Sandhu said following the upset win. “We were extreme underdogs.”
Canada’s run unfortunately came to an end this week versus Japan, but the memories for those kids will last a lifetime.
One kid in particular won’t be forgotten by the internet anytime soon.
Little League players were required to fill out a questionnaire saying what their dream job was. And when Canadian Daniel Huang stepped up to the plate, his dream job was arguably the most relatable.

Kudos to the kid. How many of us at that age had the wherewithal to choose retirement as our dream profession?
After the photo made the rounds, everyone on the internet immediately agreed with him.
“I’ve always said that the greatest job security is never having one. He’s smarter than the rest of us,” one commenter said on X.
“Finally some parents that teach their children well,” said another.
Now that the Little League World Series is over, Huang can get back to experiencing a taste of the retired life, with no responsibilities until the school year gets going again.
