Here are 11 companies hiring for jobs in Vancouver this June.

PNE Fair

If you’ve always liked the idea of working that quintessential summer job at a theme park, operating rides or selling cotton candy, you’re in luck because the PNE Fair is hiring for its 2025 season.

On its website, the PNE says it’s looking for over 1,000 “enthusiastic and dynamic employees to work in a wide variety of departments” for this year’s PNE Fair, which runs from Aug. 16 to Sept. 1.

It also provided further details, noting that base wages start at $18.01/hour. There’s also five per cent additional pay in lieu of vacation and other benefits, resulting in a total of $18.91/hour.

Microserve

Microserve is an IT support company based in Burnaby with offices in Victoria, Edmonton and Calgary. It currently has 18 job openings in B.C., ranging from business system analyst to vice president of sales and a PowerApps developer.

Microserve also offers competitive compensation packages including benefits, remote and hybrid work arrangements, and employee recognition and wellness programs.

Arbutus Club

The Arbutus Club in Vancouver, which just recently saw the end of job action by over 200 union employees, is currently hiring for several open positions on its careers page.

Those with an interest in the culinary side of the club can apply for roles like bistro lead hand, sushi cook and food runner. Arbutus Club is also hiring a full-time painter, a tennis coach, and a youth camps leader.

All of the available Arbutus Club jobs include certain perks, such as free parking and corporate discounts for gym memberships.

Bannister Automotive Group

Bannister Automotive Group has over 20 dealerships in Western Canada, including the Okanagan Valley, Peace Region, Kootenays, and the Fraser Valley. Fresh Prep

Fresh Prep is Canada’s convenient and sustainable meal kit delivery service that makes it easy to eat well, support local, and reduce waste. The Vancouver-based company currently has a number of job openings locally and across the country, including warehouse driver, janitor, and maintenance engineering technician.

Amazon

Amazon is hiring for countless positions in Vancouver, including dozens of engineering jobs and research and leadership roles.

“At Amazon, we’re looking for passionate innovators across the world to create the next best thing for our customers,” the job board reads.

Amazon teams looking to bolster their ranks include the eCommerce Foundation, Amazon Web Services, Amazon Payments, and International Stores. If you have experience in related fields, check out the jobs listed on its site.

Langara College

If you enjoy life on a college campus and are in the market for work, you might want to take a peek at the jobs being offered by Langara College.

Langara has a variety of jobs open for applications, including instructors, student case coordinators, and training specialists. Some positions are temporary fixed-term, while others are on a casual basis.

CMHC-Granville Island

Granville Island is not only a destination for tourists and locals alike, but it’s also a place to look for a new position this month.

CMHC-Granville Island has four jobs that they are currently hiring for, including grounds maintenance, leasing coordinator, and a busser.
