Jeff Leung, General Manager of Hotel Belmont, tells Daily Hive that as a parent, he understands how challenging it can be to work from home.
“I know very well that being a parent of 3 kids, it can be very difficult to stay focused working from home,” he explains. “On top of that, having an uninterrupted space to conduct the various zoom calls that have also become a norm these days.”
Patrons will have access to office services and supplies, high-speed cable or WiFi internet access, complimentary in-room coffee and tea, and meeting rooms for up to six people.
A $10 credit is also issued for use at The Living Room, the hotel’s vibrant eatery with an enticing menu.
Leung says that it offers visitors a “break” from home, calling the move a “win-win for everyone.”
The hotel says that approximately 10% of its rooms are being used for work-from-hotel at the moment, although the number could change on demand. Pricing ranges anywhere from $95 to $125 based on the size of the space and other amenities. Long-term rental discounts are also available.
“Our bread and butter is still delivering top notch overnight accommodation and this will always be our core focus,” says Leung.
