Metro Vancouver gas prices predicted to increase this weekend

Vancouverites should head to the pump before the weekend because gas prices are expected to rise within the coming days.

According to Dan McTeague of GasBuddy.com, Metro Vancouver drivers should fill up today because gas prices are expected to increase tomorrow.

McTeague says that prices will increase 3 cents a litre overnight on Friday, followed by a 1 or 2 cent increase on Saturday.

“We’ve been seeing prices move up and down by this amount for the last few weeks as PNW refiners are slowly but surely cranking no up their fuel production, which has been below 90% for the past couple of months,” McTeague told Daily Hive.

According to GasBuddy, the average price for gas in the Vancouver region currently sits at 127.5 cents per litre. Take advantage of the cheaper gas now, because it definitely won’t last long.
