Vancouver forecast pivots to rain for majority of the week

After a weekend of clear, sunny skies and high temperatures, Vancouver’s forecast is calling for a mix of clouds and precipitation.

According to Environment Canada, cloudy skies are set to take over on Monday morning and remain in place throughout the entire week.

Rain is expected to begin overnight and carry over for several days. Additionally, Tuesday calls for a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.

The forecast is expected to dry up on Thursday and Friday, which calls for a mix of sun and clouds. The rain will make a return on Saturday, however, and remain in place until the end of the week.

Temperatures across the Lower Mainland will also see a noticeable drop after Monday, with highs between 16°C and 18°C from Tuesday to Sunday.

Evening and overnight temperatures will dwell in the low double-digits, with weekly lows between 9°C and 13°C.
