Stanley Park Railway Easter Train

  • What: Both kids and adults will be able to take part in activities like a “Bunny Burrow” maze, face painting, an egg hunt in the farmyard, Easter crafts, inflatable bouncers, and carnival games. Food will also be available at the train ride, with Stanley Park’s concession stand open as well as food trucks from Cloud Nine Cotton Candy Company, Insomniac Coffee, and the Praguery.

  • Time: 10 am to 5 pm, last egg hunt is at 4:40 pm.

  • Admission: Access to the train ride costs $6, the farmyard egg hunt costs $5, and tickets required for carnival activities cost $2 each. Tickets for the train can be purchased in advance online; tickets for other activities can be purchased on-site.

Yuk Yuks University Graduation Showcase

  • What: The inaugural class of Yuk Yuks University take the stage for their graduation showcase. Featuring performances from the 17 graduates and hosted by Professor Brett Martin.

Critter Capers

  • What: The prankster crows switched a bunch of eggs into different nests. Help get the scrambled eggs home by examining nest material and other evidence.

  • What: Western Canada’s largest indoor carnival is back for spring break 2018 with six fun-filled days of carnival rides, games, and sweet treats. With over 45 rides and attractions all under one roof, there is no better place for indoor family fun this spring than at PlayDome.

MEC Vancouver Run a 10K Clinic

  • What: In this ten week clinic, MEC will guide you through a fun and safe training plan of running with the aim of confidently preparing you to complete a 10K run. Previous running experience is recommended. Weekly sessions will consist of a 15 to 20 minute lecture followed by a specifically prescribed workout. The lectures will be presented by local professionals and add a great deal of additional knowledge to aid across various aspects of running.

Aldor Acres Family Farm Easter Weekend

  • What: Celebrating their 30th anniversary this March, Aldor Acres Family Farm is full of beautiful flowers (sunflowers, specifically) and adorable farm animals. Proceeds from the weekend event will go straight to the Canucks Place Children’s Hospice and the Langley Memorial Hospital.

Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival

  • What: The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival (VCBF) is Vancouver’s signature springtime event. Wake-up from winter hibernation to an explosion of some 41,000 blossoming cherry trees. Originally gifted from Japan in the 1930’s, the cherry blossoms now inspire a month of arts and cultural community events. Presented by Vancouver Board of Parks & Recreation and Coromandel Properties.

Mr. Burns, a post-electric play

  • What: The performance takes a look at the world after a global nuclear holocaust. In the aftermath of civilization’s collapse, a group of survivors piece together the plot of The Simpsons.
