Festival of Lights at VanDusen Garden

 

  • What: The botanical garden is covered in more than a million lights. Reindeer and Scandinavian gnomes also roam the trails, and visitors can walk through the gingerbread wood, lantern alley, and Make-a-Wish candle grotto.

That Dog Was A Band Now & Coldwater Road

  • What: Two prolific folk acts are coming together to warm up one of the first winter evenings of 2018. That Dog Was A Band Now has been making folk-ish music since meeting at a Northern Californian clown school in 2013. Coldwater Road’s songs were born around the campfire of BC’s Nicola Valley and seasoned on the seawalls of Vancouver.

The Napping Princess

The X-Files Season 11 Premiere Party

  • What: Storm Crow is showing the season 11 premiere of the X-Files hosted by the rogue agents of X-files podcasting: Courtney & Alison of the XX-Files Podcast. Along with the screening, there will be spooktacular raffle prizes, fan contests and themed drinks for the evening. Proceeds from the raffle will go to the Downtown East Side Women’s Centre.
