The Dust Palace’s The WonderWombs / Facebook

What: The Dust Palace from New Zealand presents The WonderWombs, a feminist circus party with aerial performers, comedy, costumes, and more. Part of The Cultch’s Femme Series.

Revolution of Our Times

What: An exhibition highlighting images from the Hong Kong protests – “Revolution of Our Times” – will be hosted at the Polygon Gallery in North Vancouver  on January 14 and January 26, 2020. The exhibition will feature photos, artifacts, artwork, and “human stories” and will be travelling to other major world cities “with the goal of making the struggle of the citizens of Hong Kong real, and to put their fight into context.”

Movies in the Morgue – Fargo

What: Vancouver Police Museum presents a variety of cult classic horror films, thrillers, and comedies in the Old City Morgue. Attendees are welcome to bring pillows and blankets to cozy up in the morgue. There will be fresh popcorn and pop for sale.

Galleria Photography Exhibition: Visibility by Ya-Wei Lin

What: Visibility documents Ya-Wei Lin’s daily observation of the urban landscape. The ongoing series of observational photographic images reflect on and ponder the meaning of the word “visibility” in the broadest sense. The exhibition, in the works since 2016, showcases 11 images taken in the greater Vancouver area.

When: Monday to Friday from January 14 to March 2, 2020

Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea

What: Available daily until March 22, Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea features eats like a ruby chocolate lace lollipop, mont blanc cream puff, and a roasted spice duck slider, to name a few.

What: Small Business BC’s Waterfront Chats presents a fireside chat with Thomas DuBoyce and Simon Druart of Horizon Eco Builders, and Julie Veres of Port Moody Refillery.
