Italian Day 2019
What: Join thousands of Vancouverites in a celebration of all things Italian as Commercial Drive will transform into a vibrant 14-block car-free zone, featuring over 120 merchants, food vendors, and entertainment.

Pop-Up Roller Rink at Robson Square
What: The good times start at 3 pm with the All-Ages Family Skate, a roller derby bout presented by Rolla Skate Club at 5 pm. Then, from 6 pm to 9 pm, there will be Prom Night themed adult-skate, featuring tunes from DJ K-Tel. Rental skates will be available, provided by the Rolla Skate Club truck, but sizes are limited. Skaters are encouraged to purchase tickets and reserve skates in advance

Coho Bon Voyage
What: Release coho salmon fry, see the fish hatchery and discover the ecological importance of salmon. Presented by Bowen Island Fish & Wildlife Club. Free for all ages.

Canada Comedy Jam Live in Vancouver
What: Matt Baker, Velina Taskov, and Andrew Verge bring the Canada Comedy Jam Live tour to Yuk Yuks in June. They’re joined by Vancouver comics Steve McGowan, Stuart Jones, Patrick Maliha, Brett Martin and Simon King.

Festival Coquitlam’s Grand Parade and Teddy Bear Picnic
What: Bring your teddy bears to watch as the parade marches up to the Teddy Bear Picnic at Town Centre Park. Then join in the teddy bear picnic, featuring storytelling, puppet shows, rovers, gymnastics and more. Fun for all young children.

Lions Club Sockeye Run Car Show
What: The 29th Annual Sockeye Run Car Show features classic cars, music and entertainment. With hundreds of cars, free entertainment, a variety of vendors, and yearly crowd pleasers, this event is an annual favourite.

The 2019 Royal Canadian Family Circus
What: The internationally-renowned event is kicking off its 2019 Canadian tour with shows across the Lower Mainland. Expect explosive circus acts like the Flying Cortes Trapeze, the Wheel of Destiny, chair balancing, and aerialists, to name a few.

Arts Alive 2019
What: Arts Alive is an annual showcase of collaborative student works held in collaboration with the Burnaby School District featured in the Lower Gallery. This year’s 37th edition presents a selection of artworks from elementary schools across the city. Math & Art is this year’s theme to act as inspiration for elementary students.

Magnetic North Festival 2019
What: The festival features shows in development where the audience becomes part of the progression of the work through their participation. There are also premieres of local productions from independent companies and artists to stimulate and provoke senses and emotions.
