  • What: West Coast Amusements, the largest Canadian midway operation in Western Canada will be making a stop at the Ambleside Park. They’ll be setting up shop with a massive selection of rides, games, and traditional carnival eats. And no, it’s never too early in the day to have a cotton candy.

Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival

  • What: The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival (VCBF) is Vancouver’s signature springtime event. Wake-up from winter hibernation to an explosion of some 41,000 blossoming cherry trees. Originally gifted from Japan in the 1930’s, the cherry blossoms now inspires a month of arts and cultural community events. Presented by Vancouver Board of Parks & Recreation and Coromandel Properties.

Hastings Park Winter Farmers’ Market

The Art of Dance: An International Dance Day Celebration

The Overcoat – Vancouver Opera Festival

  • What: The rags-to-riches tale of a lowly office worker and a beloved garment, The Overcoat and Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin are the big acts of this year’s Vancouver Opera Festival. Originally a movement theatre piece, The Overcoatis darkly-funny storytelling with an operatic twist, and is sung completely in English.
