Fall for Local Holiday Market

What: In addition to being able to shop from more than 90 different brands, visitors can take part in a number of free DIY workshops, as well as indulge in a number of food trucks. The first 50 guests will receive a free canvas tote bag filled with local goodies.

Mann Farms Christmas Market 2019

What: Now in its fifth year, the Maan Farms Christmas Market features local vendors, goat selfies, mulled wine in the tasting room, food samples, visits with the Grinch, and more. There will be breakfast by donation to the BC Children’s Hospital each day of the market from 8 am to 10 am.

When: November 16, November 22, and November 23, 2019

JFL NorthWest presents Gavin Matts

What: Vancouver’s own Gavin Matts performs at the Biltmore on November 16. Since winning the SiriusXM Top Comic Competition in 2017, Matts has moved to LA, made his late-night TV debut on Conan, and was a writer on this past season of CBC’s This Hour Has 22 Minutes.

Matts was hand-picked by comedian Bill Burr to record a set for his new stand-up showcase Bill Burr Presents, coming to Comedy Central this January. He has also already dropped a comedy album with 604 Records called Premature, available on all streaming services.

Vancouver Giants vs Prince George Cougars

What: Vancouver Giants take on the Portland Winterhawks in WHL action at Langley Events Centre. Tonight’s promotional theme is JRFM Country Night.

What: Brought to you by Filipino food truck Shameless Buns and Layunin, this event will feature Filipino entrepreneurs and shine a spotlight on what their modern culture is all about. Attendees can expect 25 vendors serving up food, drinks like Filipino-inspired cocktails and Filipino-inspired beer, musical and dance performances, DJ sets, apparel, barber demos, art displays, tattoo consultations, and more.

Highstreet Christmas Festival

Highstreet Holiday Market

What: Taking place in Abbotsford and kicking off on Saturday, November 16, the annual festival includes the lighting of a 65-foot Christmas tree — one of the tallest in Canada — the arrival of Santa Claus, Rudolf, Frosty, and “Spandy Andy” the dancing elf, a 40-piece marching band, a team of festive dancers, and live music. Holiday shows run every Saturday, from 5 to 5:30 pm with pre-show festivities starting at 4:30 pm, until December 14th. The shows feature a multi-media light display, which utilizes 6,000 tri-color LED bulbs set to holiday musical favourites. There will also be photos with Santa, Santa’s Mailbox, and gift wrapping and personal shopping.

More Ducking Comedy
