What: In celebration of the release of Amy Fung’s new book, Before I Was a Critic I Was a Human Being, the writer will read sections of the book in discussion with writer/curator Kim Nguyen. This debut collection of creative nonfiction stories by Fung takes a closer examination at Canada’s mythologies of multiculturalism, settler colonialism, and identity through the lens of a national art critic. 42nd Annual Western Canadian Croatian Folklore Festival
