Rock The Rink

What: The cross-Canada tour stars skating legends Tessa Virtue, Scott Moir, and Patrick Chan, and aims to blend their incredible skating talent with state-of-the-art lighting, video, and interactive technology, as well as live music. Other cast members include Canadians Kaetlyn Osmond and Elvis Stojko, Olympic Medalist Carolina Kostner, US National Champion Jeremy Abbott, and Italian World Champions Anna Cappellini and Luca Lanotte. Vancouver’s Alexander Pang, an ambassador for the Special Olympics, will also be performing on October 7.

North Shore Craft Beer Week

What: The third annual North Shore Craft Beer Week will feature seven days of festivities in venues across the area with events ranging from cask nights and guided tours, to live music, Brewmaster’s Dinners, and more. This year’s participating North Vancouver craft breweries include: Beere Brewing Co, Black Kettle Brewing Company, Bridge Brewing Co, Deep Cove Brewers and Distillers, Green Leaf Brewing Co., Hearthstone Brewery, House Of Funk Brewing Co., North Point Brewing Company, Streetcar Brewing and Wildeye Brewing.

DOSED Documentary Premiere

What: Filmed in Vancouver, DOSED is an award-winning and controversial documentary about using illegal psychedelics to overcome depression, PTSD, anxiety, and addiction. After the movie, there will be an in-depth question and answer period with Paul Stamets, Dennis McKenna and other heavyweights of the psychedelic research, and healing community.

Harvestland will boast dozens of attractions, including tractor rides, logger sports showcases, pumpkin carving, and theatrical entertainers. Guests can also explore the colourful Bavarian Village, a Woodland Labyrinth, and the interactive Kinder Farm.
