We’ve all spent a month or more getting rather familiar with the look of our walls, and the little views we have of outside, but that hasn’t stopped everyone from experiencing the unreal scenario happening in our once-busy metropolis.

Vancouver cinematographer Jeric Sangalang shared a short film he made of the city, and it will make you appreciate the place we’re lucky to call home just a bit more.

Sangalang spent time shooting the nearly still streets of Vancouver “capturing the beauty of the city under the sunset light,” he says.

It’s a captivating watch, and a must-see during this time in which we all pine for some freedom to return to life as we once knew it.

In the short film, you can see some Vancouverites wandering about, a sprinkling of cars, and some fitness routines taking place, relatively unmoored by a quarantined world.
