What: Tate McRae’s latest album, So Close To What, has topped charts around the world and also gave her fans the hit song “Sports Car.” The two-time Juno winner is also in the record books as the first Canadian finalist on So You Think You Can Dance, and recently scored her first number-one on the Billboard Hot 100 as a featured artist on Morgan Wallen’s track “What I Want.”

Pleasant Day Festival

What: Pleasant Day Festival is taking over a huge stretch of Main Street for a vibrant community celebration full of dining, shopping, interactive activities and live music.

The family-friendly event on Saturday, Aug. 9, is presented by the Mount Pleasant Business Improvement Area (MPBIA). Pleasant Day will feature several stages showcasing local artists and musicians, market vendors, and games and activities for all ages.

Nine Inch Nails

What: Nine Inch Nails are bringing their new Peel It Back World Tour to Vancouver this summer.

Nine Inch Nails were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2020 and have sold over 30 million records worldwide. In terms of live performances, their previous world tour garnered rave reviews, from London to their hometown of Cleveland.

PNE Fair Summer Night Concerts 2025

What: The PNE Fair is returning this summer with a jam-packed schedule of fun from Aug. 16 to Sept. 1, and music fans in Vancouver are in for a huge treat.

This year’s Summer Night Concerts on the Chevrolet Stage lineup features some major star power like the Counting Crows, Sean Paul, and Meghan Trainor. Whether you’re into hip-hop anthems, pop sing-alongs, or classic rock, there’s something for all fairgoers to enjoy.

When: Aug. 16 to Sept. 1, 2025 (no concerts on Aug. 18 and 25)

Music Mountain Series at Sea to Sky Gondola

What: The hills are alive with the sound of music at Sea to Sky Gondola. The popular attraction is hosting a variety of acclaimed musicians throughout the summer, including The Whiskeydicks on Aug. 15 and Ruckus Deluxe on Sept. 12.

Cyndi Lauper

What: Chart-topping ’80s music superstar Cyndi Lauper is bringing her farewell tour to Vancouver this summer.

The two-time Grammy winner has sold over 50 million albums throughout her career, with memorable hits like “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” “Time After Time,” “She Bop,” and “True Colours.”

Public Disco’s Pride Block Party

What: Public Disco is hosting its fourth annual Pride Block Party on Saturday, Aug. 2, in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant. The 19+ event features international DJs like Jason Kendig and DJ Hermano alongside local performers, food trucks, pop-up bars, and more.

Creed

What: Legendary rockers Creed have announced new dates for their latest North American tour, and it will soon be Vancouver’s turn to welcome them with arms wide open.

The Grammy-nominated group is bringing the Summer of ’99 Tour to Rogers Arena on Saturday, Aug. 16, with special guests Big Wreck and Mammoth WVH.

The four-time MTV Video Music Award nominee is bringing the I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy tour to Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Centre on Saturday, Aug. 30.
