Rap lovers buy Kanye tickets, us foodies buy food and drink festival tickets, and one of the hottest ones to attend all year is the Vancouver Cheese and Meat Festival.

This annual celebration in September is back for its second year, this time at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre in Yaletown, and it’s a can’t-miss for obvious reasons: there will be copious amounts of artisan, delicious, local meats and cheeses to devour.

Along with the main morsels, this festival features accompaniments like chocolate, coffees, pickled items, and of course beer, cider, and wine – because you’ll need to wash all that cheese down with something, right?

Each festival pass gets you access to all food, wine, beer and caesars and coffee samples for the value of the ticket. Upon entry festival-goers will be given a small charcuterie board which will be yours to put as many vendors’ samples on as you wish.

Tickets for this event go on sale June 15 at 9 am – so be sure to grab yours so by the time September 30 rolls around, the only thing you’ll need to worry about is tasting all the delicious offerings.
