A young man has died in an early-morning collision on Cambie Street.
Vancouver Police are investigating the incident, which occurred just after 3 am Sunday morning when a northbound blue SUV collided with a pedestrian on Cambie Street – mid-block between West 19th Avenue and West 20th Avenue.
The pedestrian, a 25-year-old man from Vancouver, was rushed to hospital but died from his injuries.

The driver of the SUV, a 39-year-old woman from Richmond, was not physically injured and is cooperating with police. At this time, police do not believe driver impairment was a factor.
This is Vancouver’s fourth fatal pedestrian collision in 2018.
