Californian hot dog joint to FINALLY open in Vancouver this weekend
Hot diggity dog! It’s finally time!
Umai Hot Dogs, which hails from California, will be opening its first Vancouver location on Saturday, September 14, the team tells Daily Hive.
After some delays, the 1331 Robson Street shop is gearing up to welcome its first customers through the door this weekend.
Known for its all-natural, gluten-free, naturally-smoked dogs (with no MSG, by-products, fillers, and artificial flavours and colours), the brand offers a selection of sausages, umami glazed hamburgers, a āfamousā waffle dog, a fried banana dog, Poku Wings, special noodles, and more.

Founded in 1992, Umaiās Vancouver eatery seems to be the conceptās first foray into the Canadian market, as they have a handful of locations in the US already.
Looks like Japadog has a suped-up hot dog competitor in town now, be sure to try it yourself and see which one you like best.
