Over the weekend T&T Supermarket reported that two of its employees in Vancouver and Metro Vancouver tested positive on presumptive tests for COVD-19.

On November 7 the supermarket reported an employee working at its 2206 Kingsway location in Vancouver tested positive on a presumptive test for coronavirus. This individual last worked on November 5, according to T&T’s newsroom.

On November 8, the company posted that a staff member working at its #3000 10153 King George Boulevard location in Surrey also tested positive on a presumptive test for coronavirus. This individual last worked on November 5.

On its website, T&T outlines what it does when an employee comes back with a positive test.

“In the event we do have a confirmed case, the store undergoes a deep cleaning within 24 hours,” reads the site.

The supermarket also says staff who have been in close contact are required to self-isolate and are asked to be tested for COVID-19 before returning to work.
