Santa can give Rudolph and the gang a break when he visits Metro Vancouver on Christmas Day, because TransLink has once again given its SkyTrain map a “DasherTrain” makeover.

The holiday tradition first made its debut during the 2021 Christmas season and is now a festive treat for passengers of all ages.

DasherTrain is a temporary seasonal map which sees each and every SkyTrain station given a jolly new name.

The 2025 Christmas-themed map carries a similar graphic design to last year’s iteration, with one key change.

A new addition to the festive SkyTrain network map is the Capstan Station, which opened last December on the Canada Line in Richmond as SkyTrain’s 54th station.

Capstan Station has been given the chilly name, “Icecaps.”

Other merry monikers on the 2025 DasherTrain map include “Silent Nanightmo,” “Three WiseMenster,” and “Brrr-quitlam.”

TransLink‘s buses are also getting in on the holly jolly spirit, with seven reindeer buses travelling throughout Metro Vancouver.

Also helping to spread cheer this season is the West Coast Express Santa Train, scheduled to run during two weekends in December.

Other than the Christmas-themed and Taylor Swift-themed SkyTrain network maps, TransLink also previously created a Star Wars-themed map for “May The 4th Be With You” day in 2019.
