It was a scene like we’ve never seen before in Vancouver.
Vancouver embraced the World Cup prior to Canada’s arrival, packing BC Place for a match last Saturday between Australia and TĂźrkiye. After Thursday’s Canada-Qatar match, five more games will be held at BC Place.

The fun hasn’t been limited to BC Place though. The FIFA Fan Festival has been a hit at Hastings Park, while Granville Street has become party central downtown.
