Third Canada-wide warrant issued for suspect in violent attack of autistic man

After months of investigation, a third suspect has been identified as one of the men responsible for a vicious assault on a male with autism in the City of Mississauga.

According to Peel Regional Police, on Tuesday March 13 at approximately 10:45 pm, they responded to a violent assault that occurred in the Square One bus terminal located at 200 Rathburn Road West in Mississauga.

The 29 year-old victim, an autistic male, was sitting on the stairs of the lower level of the bus terminal when he was approached by three male suspects. The three males surrounded the victim and continued to punch and kick the male multiple times.

The suspects then fled the area, and the victim was taken to local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believed the suspects were from BC, and were visiting the GTA.

The last of the three suspects has been identified as Jaspaul Uppal, a 21 year-old male of no-fixed address.

A Canada-wide arrest warrant for UPPAL has been issued and he is wanted for one count of Aggravated Assault.

On Friday March 23, investigators arrested and charged Parmvir Singh Chahil , a 21 year-old male of no fixed address for Aggravated Assault.

On Monday March 26, Ronjot Singh Dhami, a 25 year-old male of no fixed address, surrendered to Peel Regional Police, he was charged with one count of Aggravated Assault.
