The Meowfest cat convention is returning to Metro Vancouver August 1
The purrfect cat convention is returning to Vancouver this summer.
Meowfest has announced that they’ll be returning to their home city in 2020 for their third annual event. The one-day fest is hosted by meowbox, a Vancouver-based cat goodies subscription box.
In addition to mingling with fellow feline friends, Meowfest gives attendees access to all-day cat and kitten adoptions. Other activities include Meet & Greets with “celebricats” and animal advocates, free entertainment, and plenty of workshops.

Organizers say that this year’s event will also include free live entertainment, a marketplace with local and international vendors, cuddle rooms, and (new to the celebration) a cat-themed cocktail bar.

Best of all, 100% of proceeds from Meowfest are donated to local animal shelters and organizations.
