The Black Lodge is closing its doors this month in Vancouver

The hits to the Vancouver restaurant scene just keep coming. The Black Lodge has announced it will be closing its doors this month.

The Twin Peaks-inspired restaurant and bar operated its first location at Fraser and Kingsway for five years before opening a second outpost at 317 East Broadway in 2017.

Owners closed the first location shortly after the Broadway location’s opening, so it has been the only operation for a while now.

The Mount Pleasant watering hole is known for its craft beer and vegan/vegetarian comfort eats.

Owners thanked customers, staff, suppliers, and brewers for their support over the last eight years in a statement, and also said the 317 E Broadway space would be taken over by another independent restaurant.

The Black Lodge will be offering its last service on Saturday, February 27.

Be sure to make it down and enjoy this spot while you still can.
