Thanksgiving weekend weather forecast Vancouver 2016

Oct 7 2016, 12:35 am

Bad news folks. The weather forecast for this long Thanksgiving weekend calls for rain, rain and probably more rain.

Let’s at least start with the most hopeful forecast, from Environment Canada.

While they expect a 60% chance looming grey clouds and pouring rain on Saturday and Sunday, they do give Monday a chance of sunshine, albeit behind some clouds.

But, of course, it gets worse. Of course, it does. This is Raincouver.

Accuweather forecasts 60% likely rain on Saturday, 81% likely rain on Sunday – and 76% likely rain on Monday. There will be no let up it seems.

The Weather Channel takes it even further, saying rain on Saturday and Sunday is 90% likely and on Monday, 70% likely.

Which all sounds like a great excuse to hunker down with a turkey and cranberry moist maker sandwich.

Happy Thanksgiving!
