Police are investigating after what they’re describing as a “targeted home invasion” that took place on Tuesday morning.

The invasion occurred at approximately 4:20 am, at a residence in the 20000 blocks of 46A Avenue.

In a police statement, the Langley RCMP explains that they were notified after a male victim arrived at the Langley Memorial Hospital, “suffering from stab wounds.”

Two masked assailants reportedly entered the residence and “demanded money from the victim.”

It’s not yet known how the suspects entered the residence, but police say that the male victim suffered multiple stab wounds. There were three people home at the time of the attack.

“The victim was stabbed multiple times and is now in stable condition,” the Langley RCMP said. “The home invasion is believed to be targeted in nature.”

Investigators have since executed a search warrant on the residence in hopes of gathering evidence to identify the suspects.

Anybody with information is asked to contact the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
