Chinatown lions adorned with flowers following racist vandalism (PHOTOS)

In these times of uncertainty, small gestures of kindness go a long way and someone has done just that for Chinatown’s iconic lion statues.
The lions are part of the iconic Millenium Gate landmark which welcomes visitors into the historic Chinatown neighbourhood.
Over the past few weeks, the lions have been vandalized twice with racist, anti-Asian graffiti, which prompted an investigation from Vancouver Police.

The graffiti has since been scrubbed off the statues and now, someone has decided to give them the love they deserve by decorating them with beautiful flowers.
