North America’s largest Indian buffet opens in Metro Vancouver this week
There are exciting restaurant openings and then there are epic restaurant openings, and we have a hunch that Tandoori Flame’s first BC location is going to be the latter.
After establishing two uber-popular restaurants in the Greater Toronto Area, Tandoori Flame turned west to break into the BC market by opening their first Western Canadian location in Delta.

Known for their unmatched selection of Indian eats (we’re talking 150 items on weekends), the Delta location will boast seating for 450 people in its multi-room 11,000 sq. ft. restaurant.
The rustic-yet-contemporary space itself will feature 200 linear-feet of glass walls, hand-carved artifacts, and traditional paintings.
Patrons can expect 12 live food stations, made to order street food, and a bar whipping up cocktails and mocktails at this family-run restaurant group owned by the Gulati family.

This new eatery, located at 11970 88th Avenue (about 45 minutes from Downtown Vancouver), is going to be the biggest Indian-style restaurant and buffet in North America.
Complete with its own Woodstone oven, customers can even grab one of Tandoori Flame’s baked pizzas for takeout if they wish.

The grand buffet is priced at $15.99 – $25.99 per person and will serve lunch and dinner seven days a week, 365 days a year.
The restaurant will officially be open for later dinner too, its hours are 11:30 am to 10:30 pm on weekdays and on Friday and Saturday they close at 11 pm.

The restaurant is set to open on Friday, June 1, so be sure to mark your calendar and arrive early, because there’s is almost definitely going to be a line.
