Tacofino is officially reopening for takeout and delivery May 5

It’s a true taco miracle because much-loved local spot Tacofino is officially reopening on May 5, which also happens to be Cinco de Mayo.

The popular restaurant temporarily shut down all of its brick and mortar locations and food trucks back on March 17, so we’re pretty dang pumped it’s coming back.

Starting Tuesday you can devour this spot’s Baja-by-way-of-West-Coast fare once again via takeout and delivery.

Tacofino’s to-go offerings include its signature tacos, burritos, bowls, and even kids’ meal boxes too.

Folks can also purchase nachos in take-and-bake format, complete with guac, because truly what are nachos with no guac?

In addition to this grub and some larger, family-style to-go family kits, Tacofino will be serving up DIY cocktail kits, beer, and wine as add-ons to any food order.

Two bucks from each family kit sold will be donated to the Vancouver Food + Beverage Relief Fund, so it’s truly a win-win if you pick any one of these curated packages.

“We’ve put in a lot of time in to ensure that the safety of our workers and guests remain the number one priority for us,” said Tacofino Co-Founder Jason Sussman.

“We’re looking forward to bringing the Tacofino experience back and seeing all of you again real soon — at a distance.”

Once they’ve officially launched customers can order these offerings for delivery via DoorDash or opt for curbside takeout at Tacofino’s Kits location daily from noon to 8 pm. Pickup can be ordered through Tacofino’s website.
