Sweet Jesus Metrotown has closed after less than a year of operation

Sorry ice cream lovers, if you were a fan of Toronto’s uber-trendy Burnaby location of Sweet Jesus, it seems the sweet spot has quietly shuttered.

Known for its “handcrafted chef-inspired pimped out soft serve”, Sweet Jesus currently operates 15 Ontario locations and one outpost in Baltimore.

The first-ever BC location of the ever-expanding Canadian chain opened in October 2018, Metrotown Mall staff confirmed to Daily Hive that it has closed less than a year into its operation.

Sweet Jesus has been removed from the listings of the Burnaby mall and the storefront –  located on the ground level of the mall just passed the Superstore entrance – has shuttered.
