Vancouver's new Japanese restaurant 'Sushi Mugen' is open

Downtown Vancouver’s new Japanese restaurant has officially opened its doors.

Sushi Mugen is located in the former space of Lickerish Lounge, which operated at 903 Davie Street for a decade before closing its doors on New Year’s Eve 2018.

Sushi Mugen offers a menu of fresh Japanese classics and all playfully plated in a way that’s ideal for those perfect Instagram shots.

Patrons can find a big menu full of udon, noodles, salads, sashimi, aburi nigiri, tempura, and oshi sushi along with a selection of beer, wine, and sake.

Most of the basic rolls at this spot are under $6, and many specialty rolls are under $10, making it a relatively affordable place to head for a bite.

Sushi Mugen is open seven days a week from 11:30 am to 10 pm (last call is 9:30 pm) – stop in and welcome this new joint to the neighbourhood.
