Surrey RCMP seek witnesses after woman grabbed from behind by male suspect

Surrey RCMP is investigating a suspicious incident involving a woman who was grabbed in the Fraser Heights neighbourhood.

On August 13, 2018, at 11 pm, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a 27-year-old female who was grabbed from behind by an unknown male while walking in the area of 111A Avenue and 161A Street.

The woman was able to free herself from the suspect and flee the area without any injuries.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 5’8″, medium build, wearing a Nike hoodie and grey sweatpants.

He was seen driving a black 2000 Chevrolet pickup with Silver Convex rims and possibly a two-door extended cab.

The Surrey RCMP’s General Investigation Unit is leading the investigation.
