Canada-wide warrant issued for 18-year-old wanted on drug trafficking charges

RCMP in Surrey, BC are searching for an 18-year-old who they say is currently wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

In a release, police said that James Daniel is wanted in relation to three charges related to drug trafficking.

RCMP said the charges stem from an investigation which began in September of 2018 and focused on alleged drug trafficking in Surrey and Delta.

During the investigation, police executed search warrants at two separate residences, one in Surrey and one in Delta.

As a result of these search warrants, police located bulk and pre-packaged fentanyl as well as evidence which led police to believe that large volumes of fentanyl were being trafficked.

A total of 38 charges were approved against six individuals, as a result of the the investigation – including Daniel.

All of those charged were arrested, with the exception of one person who is deceased, and Daniel, who investigators believes is no longer in BC.

Police describe Daniel as a black male, 6’1” tall, 141 lbs with a slender build, with short black hair, and brown eyes.
