'Whole life ahead of him': Family of Surrey man issues public appeal seven years after his murder

Dec 8 2025, 9:40 pm

On Dec. 7, 2018, just after 1:30 a.m., Bradley Kline was found dead in a Surrey home, and was later determined to be a victim of murder.

After an assessment on the scene that was conducted by Surrey RCMP, it was determined that Kline had suffered from injuries that were “consistent with criminality.”

Kline’s body was found in a home at 7055 144A St. in Surrey. Seven years later, Kline’s family is issuing a public appeal for help with information related to his death.

In a release from the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT), the family said that Kline “had his whole life ahead of him.” Kline was 26 years old at the time of his death.

IHIT was called in because the circumstances leading to Kline’s death appeared suspicious.

IHIT says that over the past seven years, its investigators have been following the evidence trail “diligently.” Investigators have been able to piece together some of the details, resulting in the identification of several suspects who may have been involved in the Surrey murder.

Kline’s family is hoping someone has information that can help advance the investigation.

“It has been an extremely difficult time for his family, and we are appealing to those individuals who have key information about this murder who have yet to come forward. It is not too late to do the right thing,” said IHIT Sergeant Fred Fong.

Kline’s family has also issued a statement.

“Our family has been forever changed by the murder of our nephew, Bradley. He was only 26, just beginning his life. We’ll never know who he might’ve been in life, or what future he might have built. His time in this world was taken from him, from his family. After seven long years with no justice, our hope is fading. We are asking the people who know the truth to come forward, so we can finally give Bradley the justice he deserves.”
