In honour of the one-year anniversary of a Surrey Best Buy Express location, the shop is offering a special treat for the first 50 customers next Tuesday.
The Best Buy Express located in Guildford Town Centre, which is the first Metro Vancouver location to open, is where the celebration is taking place.
The first 50 customers will be getting a $50 gift card to be used at Best Buy. A release from Best Buy Express states that it’s a general Best Buy gift card, which suggests you should be able to use it at any Best Buy location.
We told you a little bit about Best Buy Express when the retail chain launched. It’s essentially a mini version of Best Buy and is a partnership between the electronics giant and Bell.
They called it a bold goal when they told Daily Hive about plans to open nearly 200 stores.
“In less than five months, we opened 167 Best Buy Express stores across the country,” a Best Buy Canada spokesperson told Daily Hive.
Best Buy Canada attributes achieving that goal to the efforts of hundreds of its team members across Best Buy Canada and Bell.
The anniversary event will take place on Tuesday, June 24, at the Guildford location. It’s also going to be kicking off Best Buy’s Boxing Day in Summer sale, which takes place at regular Best Buy and Best Buy Express locations. That sale starts on June 26 and ends on July 3.
“Our Guildford Town Centre location has always held a special place in this program’s heart, and it’s one of our most successful Best Buy Express stores to date,” the Best Buy Canada spokesperson said.
In Canada, most Best Buy Express locations have taken over what used to be The Source, a former electronics and cell phone retail outlet.
