Superbaba will be popping up in Cafe Medina for dinner service

Popular Middle Eastern food truck Superbaba just announced it’s returning to Vancouver in pop-up form.

The Victoria-based quick-service restaurant launched its food truck in Vancouver in Summer 2018, but its service has been paused since March.

Now, Superbaba will be serving weekly dinner service for takeout and delivery out of much-loved Vancouver brunch destination, Cafe Medina, at 780 Richards Street.

Starting June 2 from 5:30 to 9:30 pm, Superbaba will be offering its signature eats like falafel, chicken shawarma, fresh-baked pita, and turmeric cookies.

Folks will also be able to order hummus, pita, and take-and-make falafel.

“We’ve had so many heartwarming messages from our customers asking to buy our falafel mix to make at home while we were closed. After opening back up in Victoria, we are excited to also be back in Vancouver, and we are thankful for both of our partners, Cafe Medina & Tacofino, for making this pop up possible,” says Dallah, chef and partner at Superbaba.

You can order online through Ritual and ClickDishes for pickup, as well as DoorDash for delivery.
