Canadian microbrewery opens new 270-seat taphouse and restaurant in Metro Vancouver

Here’s some news for folks in and around the North Shore: Steamworks Brewing Co. has officially opened its doors.
The Canadian microbrewery opened a taphouse and restaurant in Central Lonsdale at Lonsdale Square very recently, and we’ve been waiting for it since plans were first announced last winter.
It was initially set to open in early fall 2024, but as with many restaurant projects, the location was slightly delayed.
Once all is said and done, the new dining and drinking destination will offer seats for 270 people. Steamworks tells Dished that 140 of those seats are inside, and its 130-seat, 1,900 sq ft patio will open in the spring.

The newest Steamworks taphouse will offer patrons the brand’s signature brews and rotating guest taps.
When it comes to grub, Steamworks offers ample bites like bar snacks, mains, and a great selection of plant-based eats.
On top of lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, you can enjoy happy hour from 3 to 6 pm and 9 pm to close from Sunday to Thursday.
Steamworks currently operates a brewery and taproom in Burnaby, a brewpub in Gastown, and a taproom and restaurant in Mount Pleasant.
