Speed believed to be a factor after crash sends 2 drivers in Surrey to hospital
Two drivers are in the hospital after a car crash that took place in Surrey on Saturday night.
According to a statement from the Surrey RCMP, the incident took place at approximately 10:31 pm around the intersection of 164th Street and 64th Avenue.
The two-vehicle collision sent the two drivers to a nearby hospital, although the extent of their injuries is unclear at this time.
Although the investigation is in the early stages, police say that “speed appears to be a factor in this collision.” Traffic was affected for several hours and a road closure was in place while officers conducted their investigation.
