You knew it had to happen sooner or later, and it turns out today’s the day: It’s currently snowing in parts of Metro Vancouver.
While it may not be the #snowmageddon that the region has experienced in the past couple of years, it looks like Old Man Winter has finally decided to show up in parts of the region– and bring a little bit of the white stuff with him.
On Friday, residents from UBC to Delta shared their shots of the snow on social media.

And while it looks encouraging for winter enthusiasts, it also doesn’t look like this will stick around for too long.
According to Environment Canada, the region will see more rain than anything else, with amounts up to 15mm expected, before things start to clear up this weekend.
