You’ll want to be bundled up this weekend because there’s a chance that Vancouver could finally see some snow.
Metro Vancouver has experienced freezing temperatures over the past few weeks, but luckily, plenty of sun has come along with it. But it looks like that’s about to change.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada’s (ECCC) seven-day forecast, temperatures are expected to dip on Saturday, and there’s a 60% chance of snow flurries that evening.
On Sunday, there’s also a good chance of either “snow or rain” during the day. Temperatures will hit -3°C, and “rain or flurries” are in the forecast for the evening.

On Monday, there could also be periods of snow or rain during the day.
If you want to soak in the sun before the weather gets much wetter (and potentially snowier), head outside today and tomorrow, as the rain will set in on Wednesday night.
As for what’s to come for the remainder of the February forecast, ECCC meteorologist Derek Lee told Daily Hive in a recent interview that there are some “below normal temperatures” in store for the northern and central interior.
However, he also noted at the time that there wasn’t a “consistent signal” for these cold conditions blanket the West Coast over the next few weeks.
