Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement over wet snow falling on the Okanagan Connector.
The snow is coming down on the route connecting Merritt and Kelowna, the statement said.
“An unseasonably cool airmass has resulted in wet snow occurring near the summit of the Okanagan Connector this morning,” it said.

The weather statement is in effect for the Nicola and Okanagan Valley regions.
